Psalm 55:22a” Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you.”

A-Admit:   Admit to God that you are a sinner, Repent, turning away from your sin.  (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Acts 3:19; I John 1:9)

B-Believe:  Believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son and accept God’s gift of forgiveness from sin.  (John 3:16; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:11-13)

C-Confess: Confess y0ur faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (Romans 10:9-10, 13)

 

 

A Really Bad Day!

               Have you had a really bad day?  I mean, really bad.  You wanted to scream because you were so frustrated.  You were rude to your own family! It seems like those days come around much too often.  Grrr.

Here’s the silver lining to that dark cloud:

Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23(NIV)

               Wow!  Because of His great love, I wasn’t consumed.  Because of His great love, I can try again tomorrow.  Because of His great love, there is a tomorrow.  Gwen~

Past/Future

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (NKJV)

Hebrews 12:10-11 Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it. (NIV)

Serendipity~

               One of the greatest joys in my life is being a part of Love Heart Ministries. The best part is the unexpectedness of it all.

Sometimes we start to think that life has somehow passed us by.  We’re stuck in a rut and really don’t see any chance for a change on the horizon. Just plain bored.

Are you convinced that the rest of your life will be exactly what it is today? Well, I’m willing to speculate that it won’t be.

If you are a Christian, are you available to be used by God no matter what He wants? He’s looking for a willing participant, and He knows your heart and what He’s gifted you with.

Yes, you have been gifted even though it may not feel like it…the gifts and abilities are there. It may help to do an inventory. What are you good at? What do you enjoy doing? What thrills you?

You might find out that you’ve got a lot more going for you than you think. And, Love Heart, just because you’ve never used that gift before doesn’t mean it’s expired!

Talk your life over with the Gift Giver. Ask Him exactly what it is that He would like you to pursue. He will make it known to you. Then, take my advice.  Fasten your seatbelt…it could be a wild ride! Gwen~
