Healaphobia

October 29, 2016 — Leave a comment

I have had some things happen in my life that have just hurt me to the bone.  People do and say the meanest things!

It really chapped me and I had a hard time letting go.  I was really good at holding a grudge; plotting my next word exchange, how I might get back at them or avoiding them all together.  Letting it consume my heart and soul!

“The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and have it to the full.”  John 10:10, NIV
Most of the time we think it’s easier to live with the pain because we are afraid of what it would take for healing.

Whatever has caused you to withdraw from your heavenly Father; I want to urge you to run to Him…. not away from Him!

“God is our Refuge and Strength, an ever- present help in trouble.  Psalms 46:1, NIV

“O Lord my God, I called to you for help and you healed me.”  Psalms 30:2, NIV

I think of it like a broken toe…we’ve become disjointed.  We need to allow God to grab a hold and reset the thing!

What has you living apart from God?  Let God bring you healing and get on with it! ~Debra

“Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.”  Isaiah 58:8, NIV

th (1)“One day as he was teaching, Pharisees and teachers of the law, who had come from every village of Galilee and from Judea and Jerusalem, were sitting there.  And the power of the Lord was present for him to heal the sick. Some men came carrying a paralytic on a mat and tried to take him into the house to lay him before Jesus.  When they could not find a way to do this because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on this mat through the tiles into the middle of the crowd, right in front of Jesus. When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend your sins are forgiven.” (Luke 5:5:17-20, NIV)

Now thats what I call a group of “Best” friends~Debra
