Make It!!

th (12)I love looking through decorating magazines.  And though I’m probably not going to spend the prices their asking; I do get a lot of inspiration.

Where does your inspiration come from?    There is so much out there that we must constantly be on guard.  What we read, watch, listen to and who we spend our time with.  As my mother says …”Garbage in, Garbage Out!”    th (14)

How do we distinguish when something is good or bad for us?  Anything contrary to the word of God; that’s your answer.

For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12, NIV)  th (15)

His word tells us that it’s a condition of the heart.  Is your heart obedient or does it have a rebellious attitude. Do you want to find yourself in a heap of trouble; step across that line.

“…But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15, NIV)

We’ve been given the guide book to draw inspiration from.  The choice is yours…Make it! ~Debra

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1, NIV)

Facts!

My grandgirls who are 8 and 6 were over the other night sharing an evening with their Gamma and Granddaddy.

Makaila had just gotten ready for bed and grabbed my Bible.

Makaila: Gamma where is it in the Bible about the man that didn’t cut his hair.

Me:    Samson?

Makaila: Yes!

Me:  Book of Judges.

Makaila: Thank You.

Addison joined us and we began to talk about the word of God.  I was thrilled that they were both so engaged in our conversation.  I said, some people think the Bible is boring but I just love the stories, don’t you?

Addison put her hand on her hip and said; Gamma they are facts not stories!  I guess she told me.

“And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:3, NIV)

Love Heart, the word of God is our road map for our daily lives.  It has all the facts you need as you seek God’s will for you life.  Let’s walk in obedience ~ Debra
