No Doubt!!

Do you ever questioned, if faith in Jesus, is the only way to be saved?

Satan is very crafty.  He lies and twists God’s word to confuse us!  He would have everyone believe that sooner or later everyone will make it to heaven.  Is that what scripture tells us?

We have a choice to reject or accept Christ’s gift of salvation. “God did not send the Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.  He who believes in Him is not condemned; he who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believe in the name of the only begotten Sod of God” (John 3:17-18, NIV)

The scripture clearly states that …“whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16, NIV).  We only have this time on earth to make that choice.  There are no second chances after death!

Why not make sure of your salvation today, and ask Jesus into your heart as your personal Lord and Savior. God promises eternity for those who make that decision and wrath to those who don’t.  “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; but whoever rejects the son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on him. ” (John 3:36, NIV)

Do not be fooled by the lure of a second chance.  Remember, there are no second chances after death!  We have this life to accept or reject Christ!

What is your decision?  Deb~  Joshua 1:9

He Gave~

The other day I heard something on the radio that was really profound when you think about it.

The speaker was talking about a time when her world was turned upside down.  She said that when you are in crisis the scripture you have memorized will be what comes to your mind.  It makes sense.

When we are in crisis, those of us who know Jesus turn to Him through prayer and the reading of His Word, the Bible.  But when we’ve hidden His word in our hearts, we have something to immediately use.

How about this one?

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

As a casual reader we might rush over the word “gave,” but when we consider the extent of that giving, it takes our breath away.

Who of us as earthly parents could freely and willingly offer up our child, our only child, to die for some ungrateful, hateful, mean and evil person who hated him?  I’m thinking not many, if any, hands went up in answer to that question!

Today, will you take the time to specifically thank God for the greatest gift of all time, His only Son, Jesus?  Gwen~

Duck Commander

th (11)Duck Dynasty is one of the hottest shows on television this season. It’s about a family that has become enormously wealthy by the production of duck calls used for duck hunting.   th (2)

To say that they are an unusual group of people is putting is lightly. Their antics can be quite comical and try as I might not to laugh at the show, I find myself laughing hysterically.

I’d like you to meet the Patriarch of this family; Phil Robertson.

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Romans 10:9-10, NIV)~Debra

The Love of God

I heard a song the other day that I learned as a child; “The Love of God.”  Gods love was taught and instilled in me as a child by my mother and her 4 sisters as we would sing together on those wonderful days at my grandparents.   It brought back such wonderful memories.

“For God so love the world He gave his one and only son, the whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16,NIV)
