Our Sunday School Class has been in prayer for a man in our church who has been battling cancer.
He went to the doctor this week for his checkup. I can’t imagine what he must have been going through; praying for healing and having faith that no matter what the test revealed that God would see him through.
“Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21)
We received word today…his scans are clear!
The first thing that came to my mind was…”Thank You, Lord!” I wanted to sing and dance around like a child and I remembered this song… “I wanna sing, sing, sing! I wanna shout, shout, shout! I wanna sing, I want to shout, praise The Lord!
“To the end that [my] glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.” (Psalms 30:11-12)
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
When is the last time you praised Him with total abandonment? In good times and bad, He is with us…Praise Him! ~Debra
