Singing is a form of worship which speaks to me like no other.  I grew up singing hymns along side my Aunts.  If I close my eyes and listen; I can still hear their beautiful voices as they blend in beautiful harmony…
A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord,
A wonderful Savior to me;
He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock,
Where rivers of pleasure I see.Chorus: He hideth my soul in the cleft of the rock,
That shadows a dry, thirsty land;
He hideth my life in the depths of His love,
And covers me there with His hand,
And covers me there with His hand.
A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord,
He taketh my burden away,
He holdeth me up and I shall not be moved,
He giveth me strength as my day.With numberless blessings each moment He crowns,
And filled with His fullness divine,
I sing in my rapture, oh, glory to God!
For such a Redeemer as mine.When clothed with His brightness transported I rise
To meet Him in clouds of the sky,
His perfect salvation, His wonderful love,
I’ll shout with the millions on high.

 “There is a place near me where you may stand on a rock. When my glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft in the rock and cover you with my hand until I have passed by. Then I will remove my hand and you will see my back; but my face must not be seen.” (Exodus 33:21-23,NIV)

Not Me Lord!

thLord, how can you ask me to do that?  If they find out about my past they’ll never listen to me!

Love Heart, it because of your past and the work of God through you that they will listen!  God allows us to walk through valley’s in our life that we might be able to help others going through the same thing.I

Psalm 139:14 “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.” (NIV)

Aren’t you more apt to listen to someone who has walked in your shoes?  Sure you are!  Don’t let it go to waste by being ashamed of what was instead of rallying in what is!  ~Debra

Resolution:  A pledge a person makes to one or more individual goals.

Have you ever made a New Year’s Resolution?  I know that I must have but as I sit in this New Year and think over the past years I can’t remember a single one.

I’ve heard that if you write down your goals you are more apt to reach them.

Most importantly…pray and stay in the word!  Seek His will for your life and then put a plan into action to reach those goals.  Let’s face it…it will not work unless He is in it.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ …‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31, NIV)

  1. Seek His will through prayer and daily Bible meditation.
  2. Write down my goals
  3. Seek a plan of action

That’s simple enough! Praying for each of you a wonderful New Year seeking Him!  ~Deb
